June 14th is the 19th World Blood donor day.The reporter learned from the Municipal Blood Center that the city has been awarded the national advanced provinces and cities for free blood donation for 10 consecutive years, and a total of 3 million people have participated in unpaid blood donation.This year, more than 1,500 people in our city won the "National Honor for Unpaid Blood Donation".

The clinical blood of our city mainly comes from the two ways of voluntary blood donation and participating in the group voluntary blood donation.In 2021, the city's blood donors reached 200,000, an increase of 17%year -on -year.In the first half of 2022, due to the prevention and control of the epidemic, the total number of blood donors and the total number of blood donation decreased significantly year -on -year.In order to ensure clinical blood supply, group blood donation has become a key factor.Since February 2020, the city's blood center alone recruited 82,714 blood donations for free groups, raising 117,500 units of blood, accounting for 24%of the blood collection.Our city will continue to adopt the combination of voluntary blood donation and group blood donation of the streets to ensure clinical blood use of citizens.
