After investigation, the four -faced Buddhist stone carving kit was owned by Caoyan Temple in Qianpu Village, Wenfeng Town, Pinghe County, and was stolen in the second half of 2018. The ancient site of the Caoyan Temple was the county -level cultural relics protection unit announced in 1985. The four -faced Buddha also said that there was a must -see Buddha. After identification, the four -sided Buddhist stone carving kit is the construction of the Song sculpture Buddha statue of the beast facial stones, which is a third -level cultural relic. The "Cultural Relics Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (revised 2017)" stipulates that cultural relics are divided into precious cultural relics and general cultural relics, and precious cultural relics are divided into first, second, and third cultural relics. Citizens, legal persons and other organizations shall not buy and sell state -owned cultural relics, and non -state -owned collections of precious cultural relics. That is, the four -sided Buddhist stone carving kit is a precious cultural relic for sale. From the appearance and exquisite carvings of Buddhist stone carvings in this case, it is enough to see the historical and artistic value of hundreds of years. It is either a general cultural relic or a precious cultural relic, and it is prohibited from buying and selling. The defendant Hu Moumou still purchased privately and was intended to sell at high prices. His behavior has violated the provisions of Article 326 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, which constitutes the crime of selling cultural relics. Because of the recovery of precious cultural relics, it has the legal plot of light punishment, such as surrender, pleading guilty, and confession. According to the relevant judicial interpretation of the highest law and the highest prosecution, the Pinghe County People's Court made the above judgment in accordance with the law.

Prosecutors reminded that private collection of cultural relics should try to avoid non -moving murals, sculptures, building components, etc. with historical, artistic, and scientific values.
