Metal physicist, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhang Xingxuan, researcher at the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics, died in Beijing on July 29, 2022 at the age of 101.
Zhang Xingyu, born in Wuyi, Hebei on October 16, 1921. He graduated from the Department of Mining and Metallurgy of Wuhan University in 1942, obtained a master's degree in physics and metallurgy in the American Academy of Science and Technology in 1949, and a PhD in Physical Metallurgical Metallurgical Metallurgical from the Ma Provincial Institute of Technology in 1952. He was elected as a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (academician) in 1991.
