Xinhua News Agency, Moscow, July 29 (Reporter Waldi) The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the 29th that at the request of the United States, Russian Foreign Minister Raferov called with US Secretary of State Brills on the same day. The two sides exchanged opinions on the situation of Ukraine, global food security and bilateral relations.

The statement said that Lavrov explained the principle position of Russia's special military operations and emphasized that it would fully complete its tasks and goals. He pointed out that Ukrainian armed forces and nationalists are using US and NATO weapons to deal with civilians, which will only "extend the conflict and increase the victims."

Speaking of food security issues, Lavrov said that US sanctions have made the situation more complicated, and the promise of the United States' commitment to Russia's grain supply has not been fulfilled. Western groups are unacceptable to the use of grain problems for geopolitical interests.

In addition, the two sides exchanged opinions on the urgent need of normalized bilateral relations.

Blingken said at a press conference on the 29th that he emphasized in his call with Raferov that Russia should fulfill its foreign transportation agreement with Ukraine, Turkey and the United Nations. He also said that the United States will cooperate with countries such as Ukraine to support any meaningful diplomatic efforts to end Russia and Ukraine's conflict.
