At that time, Lao Shi stayed in the ancient town of Huangyao for nearly a week. Under the chance, he found his favorite house. After signing the lease contract, Lao Shi began to prepare for transformation.

Since no good carpenter was found in the local area, Lao Shi brought a construction team from Hunan to Guangxi. The progress of the transformation of construction has also aroused the onlookers and curiosity of the locals. The second transformation of the old house was in Zhaoling.

Zhaoling has been a dock on the side of the Xiangjiang River since ancient times. Zhaoling gradually evolved into a lonely small fishing village on the shore of the Xiangjiang River.

At the end of the 1960s, the state recruited some old houses in the ancient town of Zhaoling. The old history of the old history was divided into an old house. In May 2017, Lao Shi began to transform the architectural design of the old house. In order to achieve the ideal effect, Lao Shi successively invited three local top architects. He first found a professor at Hunan University of Technology and painted the first version of the design. Construction began in July 2017 and completed in September. The overall building is designed with the Chinese garden style, retaining some architectural elements of the old house. Especially in terms of ventilation and lighting. During the decoration process, the house uses a large number of Chinese traditional wooden components, while retaining the green bricks and earth tiles of the old house, truly reproduces the spiritual style of the old building, and organically integrates with the ancient town of Zhaoling.

In 2018, this house was selected by the "Friends of the Ancient Village" as the first twelve residential reconstruction demonstration projects in the country.

Over the years, Lao Shi has been looking for a place where you can stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and allow your soul to stay. In his heart, the poetry facing the sea was always lingering ... Here, he wanted to stay, want to fish, and come to the wind by the sea. So he bought an apartment here and lived there for a period of time every year. It was "home".

Later, under the promotion of local friends, I bought an old yard on the top of Nanmen Bay. This is a typical southern Fujian island building. It is a house that uses stones. There is a yard of nearly 400 square meters. There are two huge banyan trees in the yard. On the top of this house, you can overlook the entire Dongshan Island.
