Elementary students enter the Academy of Agricultural Sciences

Great Wall Network · Jiyun Client News (Reporter Wu Miao Miao Li Yuanhua) On July 24, the Popular Science Demonstration Base of Shijiazhuang Fruit Tree Research Institute of Hebei Provincial Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences organized grape planting science activities, 26 teachers and students and some parents of Xijiazhuang Xiyuan Primary School and some parents Participated in this event.

The Shijiazhuang Fruit Tree Research Institute's fruit tree department is a demonstration base relying on the unit of the Shijiazhuang Fruit Tree Research Institute of the Hebei Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences. There are currently 23 full -time popular science staff. During the event, Yang Lili, a researcher at the grape research room, led the children to visit the grape planting demonstration park, introduced the cultivation history, origin and development status of grapes in China, and explained the main planting varieties, new cultivation technologies and new models in production. Students have shown a strong interest in the knowledge of drip irrigation systems and integrated water and fertilizer technology, and different facilities and functions in the park.

Through field observation and learning, elementary school students learned more about grape planting technology and grape culture context, and increased their interest in agricultural scientific research. They were a vivid and wonderful "ideological and political lesson."
