Fujian: From the new semester, students in primary and secondary schools are prohibited from bringing mobile phones into schools, including telephone watches

On July 28, the 34th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress of Fujian Province voted and approved the "Regulations for Banning in Fujian Province Kindergarten students to bring mobile phones into the classroom" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations").The "Regulations" will be implemented from September 1, 2022.

The "Regulations" prohibit the primary and secondary school kindergarten (hereinafter referred to as the school) students bring their mobile phones (including telephone watches) into the classroom.

According to the "Regulations", students who need to bring their mobile phones into the school should submit a written application from their parents or other guardians to the school.Those who are allowed to be brought into the school shall handle their mobile phones to the school unified management; if they are not allowed to be brought into the school, the teacher shall be contemporary and informs their parents or other guardians in time to jointly educate.

In addition, the school should ensure the reasonable calling needs of students; strengthen publicity and guidance, and formulate specific measures for mobile management in combination with actual conditions, and include the school's daily management.
