It is implemented by the China Railway Twelfth Bureau Group. The Xiaohe Bridge is not only in the standard section, but also a major control node project across the line of the South Extension Project, with a total length of 982 meters. Among them, the main bridge is 360 meters long and 43.5 meters wide; the bridge on both sides is 622 meters long and 30.5 meters wide. The total investment of the project is 480 million yuan.
Different from the main construction of the tower suspension bridge and suspension bridge in Taiyuan in recent years, the main bridge of Xiaohe Bridge is a traditional arch bridge with 5 consecutive spans, like a rainbow crossing the river. Its span combination is 50+80+100+80+50, and the maximum main span length is 100 meters. In order to increase the landscape effect, door holes are also opened in the middle of the pier. The door hole is 4.1 meters wide and 5.45 meters high. The radius is 2.05 arc. The entire facade of the bridge adopts a clear water concrete construction method. The smooth and flat cement color makes this traditional shape similar to the "Zhaozhou stone arch bridge", which is more historically heavy.
Guo Jixiang, the project manager of the Twelfth Bureau of China Railway, introduced that Xiaohe Bridge has high structure, long span, difficult construction, and high technical requirements.
