Professor Song Navy is the director of the Department of Biology at the School of Earth Sciences, deputy director of the key laboratory of biological geology and environmental geology, and has long been engaged in earth biology research in major geological mutations. Host and participated in a number of national fund committees projects, national key R & D plans, etc. He has won the second prize of the National Natural Science Award, the first prize of the Natural Science Award of the Natural Sciences Award of the Outstanding Achievement Achievement Award for Scientific Research in High School, and Hubei Youth May 4th Medal. He has been asking for more than ten years that he has achieved innovative results in the research on the process and mechanism of the great extinction and the recovery of the ecosystem during the local history. Published more than 90 papers in publications such as "Nature • Earth Science", "Academy of Sciences", "Scientific Progress". He demonstrated the extinction form and recovery mode of the intersection of the two -stack -Triangle (about 250 million years), and discovered the various new strategies of creatures in the big extinction.
