What is a resident investigation?

The full name of resident investigations is the survey of residents' income and expenditure and living conditions. It is a national legal survey of people's livelihood and is closely related to the lives of the people. Resident investigations use diary accounts and questionnaire surveys to collect data, the purpose is to accurately understand residents' income, consumption and other living conditions.
