Zhang Jianhua introduced that since 2014, the Party Central Committee proposed a new strategy of energy security, my country's energy industry has actively promoted the energy consumption revolution and continued to optimize the energy consumption structure.For more than 8 years, the total domestic production value energy consumption was reduced by 20%, and the growth of new energy consumption with an average annual average of about 2.9%has supported the annual growth of 6.2%of the national economic growth.The power supply consumption of thermal power unit has dropped sharply from 319 grams/kWh in 2014 to 302.5 grams/kWh in 2021, reaching the world's leading level.

The proportion of coal consumption decreased from 65.8%in 2014 to 56%in 2021, with an average annual decrease of 1.4 percentage points, which is the fastest period in history.The proportion of clean energy such as natural gas, hydropower, nuclear power, and new energy power generation rose from 16.9%in 2014 to 25.5%in 2021, and the share of clean energy in the increase in energy consumption exceeded 60%.
