Yesterday, with the last section of the steel box beams with 113 tons of steel box beams in place, the design of the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Macao Greater Bay Area, which was designed by the China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute, and built by the 18th Bureau of China Railway The Honglian Bridge successfully achieved the main bridge and the dragon, marking the completion of the main project construction of the bridge.

The Honglian Bridge is 1772 meters in length and uses a dual -tower dual -cable -faced beam staining bridge. The tower is 180 meters high. The main bridge with a steel box beam structure is 580 meters. For maximum span, the total steel volume of the whole bridge exceeds 17,000 tons. In addition to satisfying vehicles and personnel, the bridge also undertakes high -pressure cables, gas, communications and water pipelines to cross the river, and has the highest scale in China.

After the project was completed at the end of this year, the opening time of the Longxue Island International Shipping Logistics Trading Center and the island of the Nansha Free Trade Zone will be shortened from the current 45 minutes to within 10 minutes. The efficient and convenient modern transportation system will play an important role.
