Recently, the "New Xiangyang to Jingmen Expressway EPC EPC Engineering General Contract XjepC Bidding Announcement" was released on Hubei Electronic Raiders bidding trading platform. The Xiangjing High -speed Railway Project is planned to start on October 30, 2022. The design speed is 350 km/h, and the total investment of the project is 18.832 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed on April 29, 2026. It marks that the Hanan High -speed Railway Xiangyang to Jingmen section will enter the construction stage.

According to the announcement, the new project of Xiangjing High -speed Railway has been approved by the National Railway Group and the Hubei Provincial People's Government. The proportion is 50%of capital and bank loans.

The construction scale of the Xiangjing high -speed rail project:

From Xiangyang East Station, from Yicheng to Jingmen West Station of Jingmen West Station from Yicheng to Shanghai -Chongqing Rongjiang high -speed railway, there are 4 stations in Xiangyang East, Yicheng North, Shuanghe West, and Jingmen West. The total length of the main line is 313 kilometers, with a total investment of 52.27 billion yuan, and the construction period is 4 years. Now it has been transferred to the box beam standing stage. After all the three high -speed rail are completed and put into operation, Jingmen will become an important regional transportation and logistics center.
