Tianhe Street Nanyuan Community: "Caring for the elderly to send cool summer" activity

The hot summer and high temperature weather seems to be in the "stove". The hot summer not only tormented the elderly in the community, but also touched the hearts of each community worker. Recently, the volunteers of the Nanyuan Community of Tianhe Street in Chaohu and the Sunshine Public Welfare Service Center in Shushan District, Hefei City, to visit the elderly in the empty nest alone in the cool summer.

Based on the principles of respecting the needs of the elderly, by asking the basic status of the elderly's physiology and psychology, it provides targeted on -site services according to its specific needs, including visiting, measurement of blood pressure, mental comfort, and help. The rigid needs of the elderly are more importantly the comfort of their spiritual needs. In addition to the specific door -to -door service, we also occasionally condolence to the elderly for small gifts, so that the elderly will always feel our care and enthusiasm.

Through this visit, the community staff deeply understood the living conditions, physical health and life needs of the elderly in the jurisdiction, and laid the foundation for the next step to serve the elderly. Community workers maintain the emotions of the elderly with their true love and make the elderly feel the warmth of the community family.
