At the event site, the children met many high -tech testing instruments in the laboratory, and at the same time learned the testing of testing and glasses under the explanation of the inspector.

"This is a tester of UV resistance, which can detect the ultraviolet protective coefficient and ultraviolet of sunscreen fabrics." At the Textile Inspection Center of Wuhan Quality Inspection Institute, the inspector said that he put a sunscreen jacket into the instrument. After a while, the instrument screen showed the ultraviolet protection coefficient of the sunscreen and detection data of the ultraviolet transmission rate. "The higher the ultraviolet protective factor, the smaller the passing rate of ultraviolet rays, the better the sun protection effect of UV to the human body." Inspectors said.

The inspector told the children at the scene that if the products of the nominal sunscreen, the actual ultraviolet protection factor is less than or equal to 40, and the passing rate of ultraviolet rays is greater than or equal to 5%, which cannot be called UV products. According to the "Evaluation of Textiles and UV resistance" GB/T18830-2009, when the ultraviolet protection factor is greater than 40, and the passage of ultraviolet rays is less than 5%, the product can be called "anti-ultraviolet product".

"Is the more expensive sunscreen effect, the better?" Consumers are advised to pay attention to product logo labels when buying sunny clothes. According to the standard, the "anti-ultraviolet product" label should indicate the standard number GB/ T18830-2009 and ultraviolet protection factor. Ordinary clothing also has a certain sunscreen effect. If the fabric is not treated with special ultraviolet treatment, black clothes have more protection of ultraviolet rays than light -colored clothes. Because many dyes absorb ultraviolet rays, and black and dark blue have lower ultraviolet penetration.

Subsequently, the children came to the Optical Inspection Center of Wuhan Quality Inspection Institute. The inspection center can detect products such as cooked glasses, glasses lenses, glasses racks, sunglasses, old flower mirrors, swimming moster and other products. The entire laboratory is distributed with various optical detection instruments, which has attracted the children's strong interest.

"This instrument is called focus meter, which can detect the degree of lenses." The inspector took out a sample of the schedule and demonstrated the detection process of the lens degree to the children. "The degree of glasses is the core technical indicators of the fixed glasses. The glasses with inaccurate wearing the number for a long time will not only see things, but also cause damage to the eyes." The reasons for remote vision and told them to prepare qualified glasses through regular channels to better protect their eyes.

The inspector of the Optical Inspection Center introduced that the event site only showed some of the detection items of glasses to the children. In fact, the functions and uses of glasses are different, and the items that need to be detected are different, including more than 100 parameters such as top focus, refractive index, abrasion resistance, transmission characteristics, nickel edition.
