After more than 10 years of quotation and careful cultivation, this rare plant has recently ushered in a densely playful period in the National Botanical Garden (North Park) (formerly Beijing Botanical Garden). Three giant tomatoes have "bloomed", which attracted a large number of tourists to watch.

Wei Yu, executive deputy director of the National Botanical Garden (Bei Garden), said that the requirements of giant tomatoes on growth environment such as temperature and humidity are very strict, and artificial cultivation is very difficult. Generally speaking, the giant tomb is generally 7 to 10 years from the seed to the first flowering. "This is the first time that my country has allowed giant tomatoes to achieve 'group flowers' in the state of artificial cultivation, which reflects that the national botanical garden has reached a certain level in the protection of plant relocation, scientific research and cultivation and maintenance in recent years."

Giant Koba is a plant of the Tiannan Star Kerbal. It has a tall body and is originally produced in the narrow area in the tropical rain forest in Sumatra, Indonesia. The flowering period is only 48 hours and usually blooms in the afternoon, and it will release odor and heat up when blooming to attract the pollination of rotten insects.

Recently, the three giant tombos that blossomed in the National Botanical Garden (North Park) were "height" of 1.61 meters, 1.68 meters, and 1.86 meters, respectively.
