The latest progress of the Shenzhen -Middle Channel!

On July 22, the Guangdong Provincial Transportation Group released the news that the Shenzhong Pipe Tunnel E24 pipe festival was achieved underwater on the day of the water, marking that the nine pipe festivals on the east side of the tunnel were fully installed. At this point, the project has accumulated 27 pipelines across the board, and the installation length is 4207.8 meters.

The Shenzhen -Middle Channel is 24 kilometers long, of which the submarine tunnel is 6845 meters long and the sinking pipe section is 5035 meters long. It is currently the widest underwater sink tunnel in the world.

The sinking section consists of 32 pipe sections and one final connector, including 23 pipe sections on the west side and 9 pipe sections on the east side. The E24 pipeline is a standard tube section, 165 meters long, and weighs about 80,000 tons after pouring.

The pipe festival reached the construction waters at 12:23 on July 21. At 14:00 on July 22, after the refined tone, pulling and hydraulic pressure, the E24 pipe festival completed the docking installation. At 21:30 on July 22, after the agglomeration measurement was determined, the absolute deviation and relative deviation of the E24 tube festival were met in the design and evaluation standard requirements. After completing the installation of the E24 tube festival, the Shenzhen -Middle Channel is planned to continue the west side of the pipeline of the sink tube tunnel at the end of July.

The Shenzhen -Middle Channel is a super cross -sea cluster project that integrates "bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater interoperability". The construction of the Shenzhen -Middle Channel will help Guangdong to build a "Golden Inner Bay" 100 kilometers of the River River Estuary. It is estimated that after the opening of traffic in 2024, Zhuhai will connect with it through the second phase of the North extension section of the Jinqin Express Line and the second phase of Zhongshan East Outer Ring Expressway to build an inside outbound road network.
