In recent years, Hebao Village has made every effort to make the "100,000 yellow pepper" national geographical indication trademark of the "Ace" of the National Geographic Symbol. The extension of scientific planting and the extension of the industrial chain has effectively strengthened the collective economy of the village, promoted villagers to increase their income, and interpreted the "spicy" industry "pepper" of the "spicy" industry.

The party branch led the cooperative from "selling" to "holding group development"

"100,000 yellow peppers in Zhuzhou" is a gift from the Xiangjiang River. The sedimentation of the Xiangjiang River has formed a special sandy soil -green clamping mud. This soil pH value is weak and alkaline, which is the key to yellow peppers from green to yellow. The original area of ​​"100,000 yellow peppers in Zhuzhou King" is 19 villages under the jurisdiction of Longyuan Town. Hebao Village is one of the main producing areas. Because of its unique advantages, the yellow pepper pepper is thick and bright in color and bright color. It is not only spicy than ordinary peppers, but also slightly sweet and crispy, which is favored by the market.

Despite the popularity in the market, for many years, Hebao Village has not been able to rely on yellow pepper to get rich. "In the past, each households were scattered and planted, either self -sufficient or selling them to traffickers. There has been no uniform price, and the price of sales is not high." The power of the masses is difficult to condense.

In 2019, Hebao Village established a village stock economy cooperative. The secretary of the village party branch served as the chairman of the cooperatives. By integrating funds and circulating land, it implemented a large -scale and scientific planting. There are 2198 people in the village, each of which has one in the cooperative, and the villagers and the village collectively become "community of interests."

"In addition to dividends, we worked at the base for 80 yuan a day. I earned so much to earn so much." Li Guilian, 69, and her husband came to the pepper base last year. Pepper, she is very grateful for the development of the yellow pepper industry in the village.

In order to ensure the quality of pepper, the village invited city and district experts to guide planting to purify and resume the pepper seedlings. This year, more than 700,000 pepper seedlings were distributed to the villagers. The connection of interests has stimulated the enthusiasm of the villagers. At present, the centralized planting area of ​​the village exceeds 300 acres, the dispersed planting area exceeds 500 acres, and the seedling greenhouse expands to 8.

With the scale, there is a right to speak. The village implements a certain price for a certain price. The purchase price of pepper is from 4 yuan to 6 yuan per kilogram in the past to 16 yuan per kilogram. The villagers really tasted the sweetness of "holding a group".

In 2020, the "100,000 yellow pepper of Zhuzhou King" obtained the national geographical indication trademark. In the same year, Hebao Village relied on the planting "Zhuzhou Wang 100,000 yellow pepper" to be shortlisted for the 10th national "one village and one product" demonstration village. In 2021, yellow peppers brought more than 200,000 yuan in net economic income to the village collective economy, providing villagers with more than 50 flexible employment positions, and realizing the transformation of "branches, party members, collective income, and farmers".

Extend the industrial chain from "selling peppers" to "selling pepper products"

It was less than 400 meters away from the village department. At the corner of the cold storage, a can of peppers or a bottle of pepper dipped like a hill, and it is neatly placed, waiting for sales.

"Light alone to sell peppers, it cannot maximize returns." Li Xiaohui, member of the Party branch of Hebao Village, believes that although yellow peppers do not worry about the road, only deep processing and developing by -products can improve the "grade".

In 2021, Li Xiaohui, born in 1992, gave up his high -paying work outside and returned to his hometown under the call of rural revitalization strategy. A number of private enterprises have worked as a key, have rich sales experience and connections, and have become chief salespersons of yellow pepper.

"In the four months of 7, 8, 9, and 10, it was a yellow pepper picking period. There were 910 cubic meters of cold storage, and more than 80 tons of fresh peppers could be stored." Li Xiaohui told reporters that the establishment of the cold storage is only the first step.

A 1,000 -square -meter open space is reserved next to the cold storage, which will build an automated sterile production workshop. "We have contacted Guangdong's equipment manufacturers and customized production lines." Li Xiaohui introduced that the pepper products produced in the village are mainly hand -made. In the future, it will be automatically produced by machines. The certificate provides qualifications for the supply of high -end catering and supermarkets to make yellow pepper value more valuable.

In addition to leading industries, Hebao Village has also developed characteristic industries such as Hunan and turtle. At present, there are more than 520 acres of Xianglian Base, more than 30 acres of ecological turtle bases, and a water fishing area of ​​more than 200 acres. This year, the village collective economy is expected to exceed 1 million yuan.
