Qingzhou is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese farmers' paintings and has a long history. In the past, local farmers mostly painted on their own walls and roof corners. As a kind of folk art, Qingzhou farmers' paintings have a small scale and do not form an industry. Although Qingzhou's calligraphy and painting industry is developed, farmers' paintings created by farmers cannot participate.
