Get an ancient book to be repaired, first check, take pictures, dust removal, check the version, volume and damage of the book. Then test the pH, thickness, tension, whiteness, and whiteness for paper.

Next is to disassemble the skin, remove the script, separate book leaves, book leaves to decontaminate, and repair the book.
