From 2017 to 2021, the birth population in Anhui Province was 984,000, 865,000, 766,000, 645,000, and 516,000.

The reporter noticed that in 2021, the number of two children in our province was 22,800 more than one child, accounting for 45.27%of the new population. In 2017, the number of two children in our province exceeded one child for the first time, accounting for 53.8%. After that, the proportion of two children in our province has been higher than one child.

In terms of the gender ratio of the birth population, the gender ratio of the birth population in the province was 111.07 in 2021. The gender ratio of one child in the province is 106.48, the sex ratio of the two -child birth is 105.58, and the gender ratio of more children is 149.07. Baby mortality and maternal mortality rates are two core indicators. According to monitoring statistics, in 2021, the maternal maternal mortality rate in our province was 583/100,000, and the infant mortality rate was 2.80 ‰, which was lower than the national average (161/100,000, 5.0 ‰) in the same period.

The total number of health personnel in the province reached 52 million, an increase of 17,000 (an increase of 3.3%) over the previous year.

In 2021, the total number of diagnosis and treatment of medical and health institutions in the province (including the village clinics) reached 364.061 million, an increase of 1,801 million (increase 5.2%) over the previous year.
