According to the wish of the elderly during her lifetime, her remains donated to the medical research of the motherland for free and received by Zhejiang University Medical College. She is 103 years old and 2 months old, and she is currently the oldest body donor in our province.

Fang Ailan has always insisted on studying and reading newspapers.

Fang Ailan was born on May 28, 1919. He was originally from Dongyang. He graduated from Dongwu University in his early years and became an English teacher for half a life. In order to support the economic construction of New China, Fang Ailan went to the railway system to work in the northwest. The unit has built a new railway across the country. She has been an English teacher in the railway school of Baotou, Qinhuangdao, Changsha, and Yueyang with the unit.

After retiring, Fang Ailan was hired to Xiamen Jimei Middle School as an English teacher. After working in Jimei Middle School for 5 years, he was hired to be a English teacher in Zhoushan Business School. It was not until the age of 68 that he left his teaching position and went to Hangzhou.

Fang Ailan is a very caring person. He is very embarrassed to himself, but he is very generous to help others. From the 1960s and 1970s, he began to fund others.

In 2017 Teacher's Day, he was funded to visit Fang Ailan.

Since the 1980s, Fang Ailan has funded a pair of "muscle atrophy side sclerosis" in Huzhou, Zhejiang. In 1998, a great flood occurred in the Yangtze River, and she immediately donated 30,000 yuan through news institutions.

In May 2016, Fang Ailan's student and guardian Jin Fangyun called the media, saying that his teacher had a deposit of more than 100,000 yuan, and wanted to fund the Hanmen students. Later, 6 Hong Zhisheng of Hangzhou Changhe High School accepted funding, each 500 yuan per month until he graduated from high school; in 2019, the elderly donated six students from the middle school again.

"The old man often says: 'My lonely old lady, either more money is useful, it is better to do more meaningful things!' She often urged me to find the object that can be donated." The elderly donated money to help people nearly 400,000 yuan. Among them, 306,000 yuan was used to fund 18 Hanmen students. The last funding was in March of this year. She donated 108,000 yuan to 6 difficult students who had excellent academic sciences in Yueyang City Twelfth Middle School, hoping to help them complete their junior high school studies.

"It was only four months since the death of the elderly. She was helping others with the last strength of her life." Jin Fangyun sighed.

As early as 10 years ago, the old man repeatedly told Jin Fangyun to donate organs and body behind him. She once said that organ and body donation is a manifestation of patriotism.

On July 16, 2020, the Red Cross of Zhejiang Province handles the procedures for the donation of remains for the elderly. The old man solemnly signed his name on the "Body Donation Volunteer Book".

On July 24, 2022, Fang Ailan resigned and completed the last lofty donation.
