The Japanese nuclear regulatory agency atomic energy regulation committee held a meeting on the 22nd to formally recognize the nuclear pollution water discharge plan of Tokyo Electric Power Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Dongdian Company). According to this plan, if the consent of the local government will be obtained, Dongdian will start discharge nuclear pollution water next spring.

Analysts pointed out that the Japanese government disregarded strong opposition at home and abroad last April, and officially decided to discharge nuclear pollution water into the Pacific Ocean. For more than a year, although the opposition at home and abroad has risen, the Japanese side has ignored it and it is unlikely to promote nuclear pollution water to the sea.

Vigorously promote

In April of this year, the Japanese Atomic Energy Regulatory Committee ignored the opposition and doubts of domestic and international, and "roughly agreed" Dongdian's discharge plan to form a draft "review book". After confirming the draft of the "review" in May, the committee said that the draft was "no problem" and entered the public solicitation opinion.

According to reports, more than 670 of the more than 1,200 opinions collected publicly were technical opinions, including the determination of nuclear pollution water concentration and worries about equipment seismic. Nevertheless, the atomic energy regulation committee discussed the collected opinions on the 22nd that Dongdian's response was "proper" and recognized its nuclear pollution water discharge plan.

After the Fukushima nuclear accident in March 2011, a large amount of nuclear pollution water was generated in order to continue the melting of the cooldown core. Dongdian Corporation prepared about 1,000 water storage tanks of nuclear pollution water at Fukushima First Nuclear Power Station. As the water storage tanks have fewer and less capacity, the Japanese government held a cabinet meeting in April last year and officially decided to filter these nuclear pollution water and dilute it into the sea.

Analysts pointed out that although the emission plan was formulated by Dongdian, in fact, this plan's participation and support from the Japanese government could not be completed.

According to Japanese media reports, in addition to promoting the approval of the emission plan, the Japanese side is still stepping up the construction of the town pipeline. At the end of April this year, Dongdian launched the construction of the drainage of the underwater tunnel drainage of nuclear pollution water discharge, the goal was to complete the relevant projects in April 2023.

All parties are currently concerned about the impact of Japan's discharge nuclear pollution water on the marine environment and the health of the people of the Pacific coast. The controllability of environmental impacts raises questions. In an interview last year, the director of the International Atomic Energy Institutional Director -General, the nuclear wastewater discharged to the Pacific Ocean did not cause damage to the environment to the Pacific Ocean.

The International Atomic Energy Agency set up a technical working group twice to go to the realistic investigation and evaluation. So far, it has not reached the conclusion opinion on the Japanese rowing plan, and also put forward many clarification requirements and improvement opinions. China and Russia have proposed a joint technical issue list to the Japanese side, and they have not received the feedback from the Japanese side. Not long ago, the Pacific Island State Forum Leaders' Meeting and Foreign Minister Meeting also expressed serious concerns on related issues.

In this regard, the Japanese side not only deliberately avoided these questions, but also favored the female yellow, and tried to cover up the dilution of the harm. The Japanese side claims that before the Fukushima nuclear pollution water is discharged into the sea, it must be filtered through the "multi -nuclein removal equipment" (ALPS) to remove more than 60 radioactive substances. The difficulty that the device is difficult to remove will be diluted to the sea after the concentration of Japan's national standards. The Japanese side also confused the concept and mixed nuclear pollution water with wastewater, saying that the wastewater discharged from nuclear power stations around the world contains crickets, and it is safe to discharge after dilution.

In fact, Fukushima nuclear pollution water is not discharged from the normally operating process of nuclear power plants. Among them, the radioactive substance components are extremely complicated. Whether it can effectively remove it is doubtful. Given that the Japanese government and Dongdian Company have recorded many dishonesty records in the Fukushima nuclear accident, their rhetoric is difficult to be convincing.

Japanese media have found that there are many radioactive substances in the Fukushima nuclear pollution water in addition to the 氚. Dongdian also acknowledged that more than 70%of the nuclear pollution water treated by ALPS does not meet the emission standards and needs to be filtered again.

Strong opposition to Japan's nuclear pollution water discharge plan, Japan and the international community have always had a lot of questioning opposition. This is the third time the group has passed a resolution to oppose Fukushima nuclear pollution water.

The irresponsible approach of the Japanese side has triggered strong opposition to neighboring countries. The South Korean government said on the 22nd that the Japanese nuclear regulatory agency was worried about the approval of sewage into the sea and will take countermeasures. At the same time, South Korea will also strengthen cooperation with international atomic energy agencies and strengthen the testing of radiation in domestic marine environment.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China reiterated on the 22nd that the treatment of Fukushima's nuclear pollution water is related to the global marine environment and the public health of the Pacific National State, which is by no means a private affairs of Japan. China once again urged the Japanese to effectively fulfill its due international obligations, deal with nuclear pollution water in a scientific, open, transparent, and safe manner, and stop the pushing plan. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that before the consensus with the interests of the interests and related international agencies, the Japanese party shall not start nuclear pollution water without authorization. If the Japanese party insists on the self -interest on the international public interest and the danger is to take a danger, it will definitely pay the price for their irresponsible behavior and leave historical stains.
