In the subsequent men's singles finals, Japanese player Zhang Benzhi won 4: 3 to win Chinese player Lin Gaoyuan. In the first three innings, Lin Gaoyuan won the 11: 3, 11: 7 and 14:12 respectively. But then, Zhang Benzhi and two innings with two 11: 6 consecutive games. To the 6th inning, Lin Gaoyuan was leading the big score and getting multiple match points, and eventually he was overtaken by the opponent at 11:13. In the seventh game, Lin Gaoyuan repeated the same mistake and was reversed by the opponent again under the leading score, and lost the final game at 9:11.
