Huanggang Museum was awarded "Advanced Collective of the National Cultural Relics System"

On July 22, the Huanggang Museum, as one of the 49 "National Advanced Collective of the National Cultural Relics System", was commended by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the State Cultural Relics Bureau. This is the only award -winning unit in our province and cities, and it is also the first time since the establishment of the Huanggang Museum has won this award.

The Huanggang Museum was established in 1957. It undertakes important tasks such as the remains of the historical site of Huanggang and the protection, management, collection, research, display, and publicity and education of the cultural relics. It is also the only comprehensive national secondary museum in Huanggang. The museum has a construction area of ​​12,000 square meters and has 4,1254 collections of cultural relics, including 19 first -class cultural relics (sets), 27 second -level cultural relics (sets), and 1136 grades (sets).
