Cultural relic experts said that the cemetery was the representative relic of Zhao culture during the Warring States Period and witnessed the evolution of the rise and fall of Handan City.

Handan, as the capital of Zhao Guo during the Warring States Period, has a long history of building a city and has a bright cultural relic. Later Baijia North Tomb is located in the north of Haijia Village, Handan City, and belongs to the tomb of Baijia Village. The archeological excavation here began in the 1950s.

In January 2021, with the approval of the State Administration of Cultural Relics, the Hebei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology and Handan City Cultural Relics Protection Research Institute formed a joint archeological team to comprehensively excavate the Haijia North Cemetery.

Wei Shuguang, director of the Business and Zhou Archaeological Research Office of the Hebei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeological Research, said that the post -Baijia Village was only 2.3 kilometers from Handan Dabei to the east. It forms a concentrated tomb area outside the hometown of Handan, a nearby Lincun tomb.

Archaeological discovery shows that the latter -Hundred North Cemetery mainly includes the tombs of the Warring States Period, the two Han Dynasty to the Cao Wei, the Sui and Tang dynasties, and the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is an excellent material for studying the sequence and grade system of the Tomb of the Handan Handan of the Warring States Period; 178 tombs during the two Han Dynasty, with a variety of tombs, including Tukeng tombs and masonry tombs. Tukeng tomb fills the lack of discovery of the Sui and Tang tombs in the Handan area in the past, which is of great significance to study the development of Handan in the Sui and Tang dynasties. In addition, a certain number of tombs during the Ming and Qing dynasties were found.
