It is understood that Olympic West Road is an important north -south traffic main line between the East Ring Road and the Middle Road in the East of Jinan. At present, the project has been built to Xiaoqing Henan Road. However, Olympic West Road needs to be around 580 meters eastward to cross the river through a bridge east of Hongyuan Bridge. After that, you need to return to the west to reach Niushan Road and enter the Huashan area north. Although only about 1.3 kilometers around, it is still a blocking point crossing the river on both sides of the strait.

According to the plan, the cross -river passage of Olympic West Road, which is under construction, will directly connect to Lieniu Mountain Road, and will also reduce "bypass". The north extension of Olympic West Road is positioned as the main road of the city, and it also adds a southeast exit to the Huashan area to facilitate residents to travel.

According to the "Jinan Central City Road System Plan", the south side of Olympic West Road can be connected along Long Ding Avenue and the Expressway of the Second Ring Road, and the north side passes the Huashan Interchange with the north around the city highway and planned the Jile high speed. From south to north, the Longao Government Affairs Center, International Financial City, Shengfu District, Wangshe District, Agricultural Card House, Huashan District, etc.

Olympic West Road connects the Xindong Station area north, and will connect to the south extension project of the Jile Expressway. After the connection between Huashan District and the Austrian area, it will play a very important role in alleviating eastern transportation and connecting the eastern urban area, Huashan and Xindong Station.
