From June 1st this year, more than 600 Yangtze River Rescue Volunteer team members have carried out duty and anti -drowning publicity during the flood season on the 22nd duty points on the two banks of Wuhan. They are divided into three groups a day. The iconic red hats and yellow T -shirts make them a prominent existence of the river beach. "The residents who often play with the river have met us. They also know that once they find the danger, they come to ask us for help." Captain Zhang Jianmin said. This year, the players of the Yangtze River Rescue Volunteer also volunteered to join the event of the Wuhan Emergency Safety Popular Science Community. On July 13, the three students played in the waters near Sanyang Square. There have been many rescue stories like this. It is understood that since the establishment of the team in 2010, the Yangtze River Rescue Volunteer Team has saved hundreds of lives. In 2015, the Central Propaganda Department awarded the honorary title of the "Model Model" of the Yangtze River Rescue Volunteer Team. As of now, the Yangtze River Rescue Volunteer has successfully rescued 37 drowning people.
