According to statistics from Xingsha Customs, in the first half of this year, the total value of imports and exports in Changsha was 164.51 billion yuan, accounting for 50.5%in the province, an increase of 26%year -on -year. Among them, exports were 122.92 billion yuan, an increase of 35.4%; imports were 41.59 billion yuan, an increase of 4.5%.

In the first half of the year, Changsha's general trade imports and exports were 147.16 billion yuan, an increase of 40%, accounting for 89.5%of the total import and export of Changsha in the same period. With the effectiveness of RCEP, the "circle of friends" of Changsha trade has continued to expand. In the first half of the year, Changsha's trade with ASEAN was 36.11 billion yuan, an increase of 41.9%year -on -year. ASEAN continued to maintain its position in the largest trading partner. During the same period, Changsha City's trade with countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” was 60.84 billion yuan, an increase of 43.1%; the trade with other members of the RCEP agreement was 56.07 billion yuan, an increase of 24.8%; the African trade was 12.33 billion yuan, an increase of 99.7%.

From the perspective of foreign trade subjects, the vitality of private enterprises has improved, and its role in stabilizing foreign trade is outstanding. In the first half of the year, the import and export of Changsha civic business enterprises was 142.32 billion yuan, an increase of 40.6%year -on -year, accounting for 86.5%of the city's total import and export value. The advantages of "going to sea" in mechanical and electrical products and labor -intensive products are obvious. In the first half of the year, Changsha's export mechanical and electrical products were 51.46 billion yuan, an increase of 21%, accounting for 41.9%of the total export value of electromechanical products in the province during the same period; export labor -intensive products were 34.42 billion yuan, an increase of 61.2%, accounting for 28%of the province.
