There are more than 800,000 acres of natural puppet forests in Weili County. Populus euphratica forest is distributed in the middle and lower reaches of the Tarim River and the lower sides of the Peacock River, becoming the "green corridor" in the Taklama Ganan desert.Since 2021, Weili County has carried out wildlobcal protection and repair and cultivation projects around the Tarim River Basin to achieve unified economic, social benefits, and ecological benefits.
