The 2nd Black Land Protection and Utilization International Forum opened in Changchun, Jilin

Today (22nd), the 2nd Black Land Protection and International Forum opened in Changchun, Jilin. The theme of this forum is "healthy soil and food safety". Experts and scholars from China, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and other countries have fully exchanged themes such as black land degradation resistance and health management, black land smart agriculture and grain safety, saline -alkali and improvement theory and practice.

Black land is the most fertile soil in the world. There are only four large black soil belts in the world. It is distributed in the North American Plain, Northeast China Plain, Eastern European Plain and South American Panpas Plain. The Northeast Black Earth Area, located on the Black Earth Belt in China, is a famous golden corn belt and golden rice belt. It produces 1/4 of the country's grain and is a "cockpit stone" for ensuring China's food safety.
