Ships stopped at Yanggang Port can only rely on diesel engines to generate electricity. At one time, it is necessary to consume 75 liters of diesel, and the cost is close to 600 yuan.
Not only is the cost, air and noise pollution caused by oil -burning power generation, but also seriously threatened the ecological environment of the port. Data show that burning diesel can cause 122.5 kg of pollutant emissions per hour and 2040 kg of pollution emissions.

Xie Xiangqi introduced that after 2013, Yangxiagang gradually installed shore electricity facilities with unified interface standards. The discharge of ship pollutants is one of the sources of water quality pollution in the Yangtze River. The control of ship pollution emissions is also one of the important work goals of the Yangtze River protection.
Before 2013, when the sewage of Hong Kong ships was discharged from emergency emissions, due to the lack of port receiving transfer channels, the phenomenon of direct discharge to the Yangtze River water body occasionally. Right now, the sewage collection facilities of ships are becoming increasingly complete. The Yangluo Port area has achieved full coverage of sewage emergency collection devices, and all of them have signed ships' domestic sewage and oil sewage receiving agreements with qualified third -party water flow receiving shipping companies.
At the third phase of Yangxiagang, there are 4 domestic sewage and oil sewage receiving "artifacts", each of which is connected to one group together. One of the two large iron boxes with a green clothes, one is responsible for receiving the ship's domestic sewage, and the other is responsible for receiving the ship's oil and sewage.
Yin Wei, the Ministry of Safety and Environmental Protection of Hubei Port Group, said that these emergency collection facilities were available for emergency discharge storage of domestic sewage and oil -containing sewage when the port without sewage was transferred. From January to July this year, the ship pollutants and solid waste in Yangluo Port area received 2405 times, with a receiving number of 11.66 tons. From the random abandonment of garbage to centralized collection, under the scientific control of digitalization, the Yangluo Port District is clean and clean every day.
The pure electric set card runs, and the machinery and equipment are gradually electrified

Previously, the transshipment container operating in the port was all traditional internal combustion locomotives. In order to meet the needs of the development of the green Yangtze River and the green port, Yangxiagang has been implementing the concepts of environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction to the development of ports in recent years. Among them, replacing the original internal combustion locomotive into a pure electric collecting truck is an important part of the construction of green ports. At present, 3 docks in Yangxiagang have invested 20 pure electric collective trucks.
"The investment of pure electric collecting trucks can effectively reduce energy consumption and exhaust emissions, and achieve energy conservation and emission reduction of ports."
