The maximum fine was Beijing Tongzhou Branch Company, China Pacific Life Insurance Co., Ltd. was fined 190,000 for refusing the public to use cash to purchase insurance.

In addition, Beijing Dongfeng South Liangma Automobile Sales Service Co., Ltd. and Beijing Tianda Motor Repair Co., Ltd. were also fined 100,000 for refusing the public to use cash to buy auto insurance. At the same time, the central bank warned the person directly responsible and fined 10,000 yuan.

Earlier, in December 2020, the central bank issued an announcement on regulating RMB cash receipts, requiring large and medium -sized commercial institutions, especially wholesale and retail, catering and accommodation, residential services, cultural sports and entertainment. Set the cash receipt channel. Railway, road passenger transport, urban public vapor tram, urban rail transit, port passenger stations, and ferry terminals shall set up cash collection and payment channels or provide conversion methods.

The central bank said that the public encounters cash rejection of cash, which can protect rights in accordance with the law according to the "Announcement of the People's Bank of China" (No. 18, 2020).
