At 9:14 on July 19, 2022, the command center of the Hechi Fire Rescue Detachment received an alarm: Two people in Bashaitun, Qiaoyin Village, Qiaoyin Township, Fengshan County, Hechi City. After receiving the police, the Hechi detachment immediately dispatched a rescue formation at the Fengshan Fengcheng Fire Rescue Station. Two fire trucks, 1 rubber boat, and 12 fire rescue workers rushed to the site to rescue.

At 10:32, the Fengshan Fire Rescue Brigade rushed to the scene and found that the trapped people's house was located by the river. The river was turbulent, and an elderly man and a young man in the house were trapped. It is understood that because of the continuous rainfall on the evening of the 18th, the upstream reservoir flooding, the two father and son woke up early and found that the rising floods were besieged. The water flow was turbulent and could not swim.

During the rescue process, rescue workers first explored the surrounding situations of the trapped people's houses through drones. According to the situation, carry water rescue equipment, and use rubber boats to approach the house for rescue. After contacting the trapped people, the rescuers immediately put on a life jacket for the trapped persons, wearing a helmet, guided the two to kayak, and power out of the house. As of 10:50 on the same day, rescuers successfully transferred two trapped personnel to a safe place with rubber boats. At 11:01, the rescue task was completed.
