The reporter learned from the Lianyungang Municipal Emergency Administration of Jiangsu Province on July 21 that around 12:00 on the 20th, many local towns encountered a tornado raid. According to preliminary statistics, the affected population was 2272 and 26 injured. All of them had been sent to the hospital for treatment, and one of them died of ineffective rescue.
According to reports, the tornado disaster occurred in Tangqiao Village and Xiaoyi Village of Xiaoyi Town, Guanyun County, with a wind force of 15 to 17. The tornado wind passed through Guanyun County and Haizhou District of Lianyungang City, and affected 11 administrative villages in four towns including Xiaoyi Town, Tongxing Town, Longxing Town, and Banpu Town, Tongxing Town, Tongxing Town.
According to the preliminary statistics of the Lianyungang Municipal Emergency Administration, the affected population was 2,272, the damaged houses were about 649 households and 3,148 rooms, and the area of crops was 3743 acres.
After the disaster, the Lianyungang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government quickly responded to organize the personnel of emergency, public security, housing construction, power supply, medical care and other departments to the scene. At present, the wounded treatment, the masses resettlement, and the production of self -rescue are being carried out in an orderly manner.
