Recently, the website of the Wuzhong District People's Government released the "Public Announcement of the East Taihu Tunnel Project".
The publicity shows that the project line starts at the intersection of Wuhu Road, Wushan Road, Wuzhong District, and stops at the intersection of Fengqing Street, Dong Taihu Avenue, Wujiang District. The design speed is 60km/h, and the two -way six -lane scale. The total length is 6.80 kilometers, of which the total length of the tunnel is 6.32 kilometers, the middle tunnel in the lake is 4.74 kilometers, and the total construction period is about 36 months.
It can be foreseeable that the east of the East Taihu Tunnel is connected to Dong Taihu Avenue. It connects the south of the Yangtze River Road through Wan Mountain Road to the south of the Yangtze River Road, and there will be multiple sectors along the way. The city's cross -regional road network has opened the broken road between the city sector, which greatly helps to promote the integration of the city and enhance the city's energy level.
The south extension of the Yangtze River Road is located in the ancient town of Mudu and Yuexi Street in Wuzhong District. The total length of the line is 6.428km, of which the tunnel section is 6.18km. After the project is completed, it only takes 6 minutes from Mudu to Wangshan. Recently, the section of the Qizi Shanling Tunnel on the south of the Yangtze River Road in the south of the Yangtze River Road went into the cave on the south side of the tunnel, marking that the SG02 standard of the south extension project of the Yangtze River Road entered the dark excavation construction stage.
Similarly, the Suzhou Bay Tunnel located on the south side of the Dong Taihu Tunnel has also made new progress: the first phase of the project proposal has been approved by the Suzhou City Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau, marking that the construction of the Suzhou Bay Tunnel is approaching the construction.
The Suzhou Bay Tunnel is located in the east Taihu area of the southwest of Suzhou City. The starting point is connected to Dongshan Avenue of Wuzhong District, the end point is connected to Wujiang District 230 Provincial Highway and Wujiang Avenue, and connecting the Suzhou High -tech Zone and Xiangcheng District through the existing road network. Wujiang Avenue is connected to the long triangle integrated demonstration area and the comprehensive transportation hub of Suzhou South Station, connecting Huzhou to the south.
The Suzhou Bay Tunnel is an important part of the Suzhou City Expressway Highway Network. It undertakes a rapid connection between Suzhou High -tech Zone, Wuzhong District and Wujiang District. The integration and development of space, which is of great significance to promote the construction of "World -Class Lake Lake Lake District", "Huan Taihu Science and Technology Circle" and "Wusongjiang Science and Technology Belt".
