After the line is unveiled, it will be shipped to Mexico, and the remaining 28 trains will be produced by the two countries. At present, China has trained 150 ink technicians. She said the project will provide local technical experience and create employment.

China Vehicles obtained the overall replacement reconstruction project contract by the Mexico City Metro Line 1 in December 2020. The project content involves investment and financing, new vehicle manufacturing, and existing vehicle communication signal systems, lines and mechanical and electrical systems, comprehensive modernization and upgrading, and full system maintenance.
