According to the debugging screen taken by the citizens, on the intersection signal lights, two more signal lights and an electronic screen are available next to the traffic lights of ordinary motor vehicles. The sign of non -motorized vehicles is displayed on both signal lights. With the change of the color of the signal light, the words "electric vehicles are banned into the area" appeared on the electronic screen during the red light, and the words "electric vehicles entering the area" appeared on the electronic screen during the green light.

On the 14th, the reporter came to this crossroads to see that the four directions of the intersection were installed with new signal lights, but the installation location was different. None of the lights were turned on.

According to the police on duty, the "electric vehicle -specific signal light" at this intersection is still in the debugging stage, and the pavement electric vehicle waiting area painting line needs to be further improved. "The rain is afraid of affecting the operation of the line these days, so the new signal light is not turned on." The police said.

It is understood that after the pilot "electric vehicle -specific signal light", without affecting the traffic of motor vehicles and pedestrians, the electric vehicle that needs to be left can enter the middle of the road to turn to the area. Red and green lights, and pedestrians still look at the original signal light. When the "Special Signal Lights of Electric Vehicles" at this intersection is officially opened, when citizens ride electric bicycles through the intersection, they must follow the special signal light instructions.

The traffic flow is not small. At the peak period, all directions at the intersection are often occupied by a large number of electric bicycles. After a field investigation, the relevant departments finally decided to install a "electric vehicle -specific signal light" at this intersection to conduct non -motorized vehicle "water storage" release transportation organizations to ease the pressure of non -motorized vehicles.
