In December 2020, China CRRC obtained Mexico City Metro Line 1 overall replacement reconstruction project contract. This is the first overseas "system+" project in China CRRC. The project involves investment and financing, new vehicle manufacturing, existing vehicle communication signal systems, lines and mechanical and electrical systems, the comprehensive modernization upgrade and transformation of the electromechanical system, and the entire system maintenance.
