When studying in the research group, he had tried artificial intelligence -related projects with his companions, and was deeply attracted by the huge charm of artificial intelligence empowering drugs.

"It can dig a large number of hidden laws in the huge database, which cannot be done by the human brain." He explained.

However, for Hou Dongyue, cross -disciplinary research faces many difficulties, weak computer foundations, related knowledge shortcomings, conceives and practice in practice ... Faced with a new field, he has not retreated, but starts from scratch. He studied artificial intelligence knowledge and looking for teachers' help, he also actively sought resources online. From entry to flexible use, he spent more than 2 years to master the artificial intelligence technology involved in the project.

Under the guidance of Teacher Zeng Xian, Hou Dongyue, Hou Dongyue successfully established a model of intelligent screening antibodies to accelerate the research and development of antibody drugs. The project was successfully established and applied for the Xiyuan project. At present, it has been successfully completed. It has been selected as one of the four representatives to participate in the 13th National College Student Medicine Forum.

The design of artificial intelligence drugs is the direction of Hou Dongyue, so he firmly joined the Zhuobo plan. In the future, he will continue to cultivate the field of artificial intelligence drug design, apply artificial intelligence technology to the research and development of biological drugs, especially nucleic acid drugs, and contribute to accelerating my country's drug research and development and guarding the people's lives and health.

In 2019, the Shanghai Red Cross Youth Network was established to launch backbone selection for the city. Hou Dongyue in his sophomore year signed up and was elected as the leader of the emergency rescue team of the Shanghai Red Cross Youth Network Project Department. During the epidemic, Hou Dongyue's figure also appeared on the front line of resistance. In the first week, as the head of the building, Hou Dongyue and another student party member in the building were responsible for the three meals and materials distribution of more than 200 students in the building. The most tiring time, they delivered meals and water for five days, and their physical consumption was extremely consumed. They had to change three sets of protective clothes a day, and their hands were soaked in sweat.
