74,000 yuan "treatment fee" led to the care of the elderly fraud

On July 12, the reporter learned from the Qinghai Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau that the old man in Xining called 12315 complaints that he was arranged to participate in the medical examination during the tourism process and paid 74,000 yuan for "treatment fee". Following this clue, the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau dug a case of suspected elderly consumption fraud.

The old man involved in the incident was 78 years old and lived in Chengbei District, Xining City. Ten years ago, the old man participated in the event organized by a health management consulting company in Qinghai in Xinning Plaza and met a staff member of the Wang surname. After that, the elderly continued to participate in the health class organized by the company, with an average of seven or eight lessons each year. In recent years, the elderly spent tens of thousands of yuan to buy health products.

In April 2021, the staff of Wang Wang mobilized the elderly to travel to Chengdu, collecting a tourist fee of 1280 yuan, and no other bills were provided except the ticket. Before returning to Xining at the end of the tour, the staff of Wang Wang took more than 20 elderly people with his peers into a medical examination institution for medical examinations.

The old man recalled that during the physical examination, he put his hand in a instrument, and was told to check the severe "three highs" symptoms, and did "bowel washing". He doesn't know what medicine is.

The staff of the surname Wang persuaded everyone to treat, and the elderly need to pay 74,000 yuan for treatment. The old man did not bring so much cash, and the staff of Wang Wang helped him swipe the card to pay. After returning to Xining, the old man returned the money to the staff of Wang, but the other party did not provide an invoice, and the old man repeatedly asked for no results.

According to the results of the medical examination, the elderly need to go to Chengdu for follow -up treatment, but due to the epidemic, he could not go to Chengdu, so he asked the staff of Wang to refund the remaining treatment fees. Because the cash given when the elderly paid for money, there was no transfer record, and the negotiations between the two parties were unsuccessful. On June 7, the old man called 12315 to complain about the company.

On June 13, law enforcement officers of the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau went to the company to inquire about the investigation and searched a number of notebooks, which recorded the situation of each elderly, including name, age, telephone, personality, preference, family address and family situation. Wait, it is confirmed that the company attracts the elderly to become a member through free measurement of blood pressure, gift gifts, etc., sells health products to them, obtains trust, and further organizes tourism and implements other fraud.

Because of this case involved a huge amount and a large number of people, suspected of crime, on June 14, the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau transferred the case to the public security department for investigation. At present, many people involved have been taken for compulsory measures.
