Hunan 2021 environmental protection credit evaluation results are released

10 parks and 160 units were rated "environmental protection integrity"

On July 18, the Hunan Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment released the results of environmental credit evaluation of industrial parks and enterprises and institutions in 2021. A total of 10 provincial and above industrial parks in the province have been rated "Environmental Protection Integrity Park", and 160 enterprises and institutions have been rated "environmental integrity units".

According to reports, there are 143 provincial and above industrial parks in Hunan Province conducted self -inspection and self -reporting. After inspection by the Provincial Environmental Credit Evaluation Office, Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone, Ningxiang High -tech Industrial Park, Hunan Liling Economic Development Zone, Yiyang High -tech Industrial Development Zone, Longling Industrial Development Zone, Hunan Hanshou High -tech New Technology Industrial Park, Hunan Dianxian High -tech Industrial Development Zone, Luzhou Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, Loudi Economic and Technological Development Zone, etc. have been rated as "environmental protection and integrity parks".

4,386 enterprises and institutions in the province participated in the evaluation. It is understood that enterprises and institutions that have been rated by "environmental protection integrity units" can be preferentially selected for environmental protection special funds or other subsidy funds under the same conditions when conducting relevant projects. For "environmental protection units", the province will order it to stop illegal acts in accordance with laws and regulations and stop production and rectification. Enterprises and institutions included in the "environmental protection blacklist" will be suspended and approved by new, renovated, and expanding the environmental impact assessment documents and other environmental administrative licenses other than pollution control facilities and ecological protection projects.
