Standardized treatment training for gastrointestinal veins of the esophagus and gastrointestinal vein

On the afternoon of June 11, 2022, the second phase of the EGVB standardized treatment training camp was held by the Department of Spleen and Stomach Diseases of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, which aims to improve the level of standardization of EGVB for digestive peers. The meeting was held online, covering special lectures and surgical operations.

At this meeting, 4 well -known domestic experts were invited to give lectures on the acute rupture bleeding comprehensive management of acute rupture bleeding, varicose vein gastrointestinal bleeding, traditional Chinese and western medicine diagnosis and treatment, and three senior endoscopy doctors were conducted. The surgical demonstration under endoscopy has attracted nearly 2,000 students to attend the meeting.

EGVB little knowledge

Esophageal and Gastric VariceS Bleeding (EGVB) is one of the critical causes of gastrointestinal bleeding, which is a common cause of acute gastrointestinal bleeding. Under the endoscopic tissue adhesive injection, tie, hardening agent injection, etc. are the most effective way to treat EGVB.

The mortality rate of gastrointestinal bleeding from Guangdong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is much lower than national standards.

Due to the excellent work of gastrointestinal bleeding green channels, Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was rated as "Demonstration Center for Great Gastroenterology Bleeding Salvation" by the Chinese Medical Association Emergency Doctor Branch in 2019.
