On July 18, the reporter learned from the Chengdu Qingyang Court that a telecommunications network fraud case specializing in deceiving foreigners.

From July 2nd to March 2021, the defendant Tao Moumou established three companies as the actual controller, and cooperated with the defendant Xu Moumou, Zhou Moumou, and Zhang Moumou. Women who disguise themselves into young and beautiful and successful careers, and then use the information of foreign men in advance, use online chat software such as "WhatsApp" with beauty avatars and photos to deceive each other's trust, and then seduce the other party to invest.

The defendant Du Mou knew that Tao Moumou had built a platform and was looking for overseas bank accounts to fraud with overseas customers. He still actively introduced "President Li" (in the flee) and Tao Moumou. Later, "President Li" provided Tao Moumou with the BTF platform qualification (virtual currency trading platform) and a large number of overseas bank accounts for collecting the victim's investment. After the platform is charged some handling fees, the remaining money is transferred to Tao Moumou.

In order to avoid deducting the handling fees by other platforms, Tao Moumou and Dong Mou and others (both handled separately) cooperated to develop the MT4/MT5 platform for false investment. The MT4/MT5 platform can be manipulated background. After the victim is investing, it is artificially manipulated and controlled the background data of the above software, creating the illusion of victim investment losses to deceive the victim's investment funds.

After trial, the court believed that the defendants Tao Moumou, Xu Moumou, Zhou Moumou, and Zhang Moumou used the fictional facts of the telecommunications network to deceive others' property. The defendant Du knew that others used the information network to implement crimes, and still provided payment settlement for their crimes. The circumstances were serious, and their behavior had constituted the crime of helping the information network crime.

According to the circumstances and confession, the court sentenced Zhang Moumou, Zhou Moumou, Xu Moumou, and Tao for four years, eight months to six months and six months, respectively. Funding to 500,000; the crime of helping the information network crime was sentenced to nine months in prison and a fine of 10,000 yuan.

The Qingyang Court reminded: In daily life, the public should strengthen the awareness of risk prevention. Do not blindly believe in the "beauty" of "falling into the sky" and beware of being deceived.
