After receiving the clue of the case, the city procuratorate communicated with the court. In April this year, the court invited the Urban Procuratorate to resolve the administrative dispute over the case. The prosecutor of the hospital has repeatedly understood the situation from the parties, searched for collecting relevant information, and visited the relevant departments with the undertaking judge to repeatedly coordinate and communicate.

On May 25, the Urban Procuratorate held a public hearing on the resolution of administrative disputes, and invited members of the CPPCC, people's supervisors, and relevant persons in charge of the city's courts and civil affairs bureaus to participate. At the hearing, the prosecutor introduced the basic situation of the case, the facts and evidence of the review and identification, and the participants expressed their opinions on the name of the man in the marriage certificate. The hearing unanimously supported Xu Mou's request for correctional marriage certificate. The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau stated that he would seriously solve the problem of the masses' anxiety and hope for the problem, so that the parties returned to normal life as soon as possible.

On the next day of the hearing, at the city procuratorate issued a procuratorial suggestion to the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau to supervise its duties in accordance with the law. Subsequently, the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau quickly reflected relevant materials and procuratorial suggestions to the superior department. After approval, Li's information in the marriage registration system was corrected on June 9. At present, Xu has revoked his prosecution against the Civil Affairs Bureau.
