On September 22, 2022, the first instance of the Shanxi Provincial Games Intermediate People's Court opened the trial of the former party group and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial People's Congress Song Taiping.

The Yuncheng People's Procuratorate sued accusations: From 2005 to 2017, the defendant Song Taiping used the convenience of serving as the director of the Personnel Department of the Hebei Province, the secretary of the Baoding Municipal Party Committee of Hebei Province, and the deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, and for the project contract for others in engineering projects Help cadre selection and appointment, employee recruitment and other aspects. From March 2003 to March 2021, the defendant Song Taiping has repeatedly illegally accepted the property of others more than 69.49 million yuan. The procuratorial organs were requested to investigate Song Taiping's criminal responsibility for bribery.

During the trial, the procuratorial organs presented relevant evidence. The defendant Song Taiping and his defender conducted a qualitative certificate. The two parties in charge of the defendant fully expressed their opinions under the auspices of the court. At the end of the trial, the court announced the offer and pronounced it.

More than 70 representatives of the People's Congress, members of the CPPCC, and people from all walks of life listened to the trial.
