Gu Yu, male, Han nationality, born in March 1958, Tigerlin, Heilongjiang, academic university degree, joined the work in August 1975, and joined the Communist Party of China in September 1977.

Since August 1975, he has successively served as the director of accounting, deputy director, director of Huilin Baodong Grain Store in Heilongjiang Province, deputy director and director of Huilin Satellite Grain Store in Heilongjiang Province, Deputy Director and Director of Huilin City Food Bureau of Heilongjiang Province;

In February 2003, he served as Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of the Party Committee directly under the Central Reserve Grain Harbin;

In January 2009, he served as a member and deputy general manager of the party group of Heilongjiang Branch of China Reserve Grain Management Corporation;

In October 2013, he served as the party secretary and general manager of the Shanxi Branch of China Reserve Grain Management Corporation;

In February 2017, he served as Secretary and Chairman of the Party Committee of China Reserve Cotton Management Corporation;
