According to the data released by the Supreme Law, in the first half of 2022, 11,000 cases of telecommunications network fraud crimes were concluded in the first half of 2022, and 21,000 defendants were sentenced to punishment, which fell in 2021.

Ma Yan, the president of the Supreme Court of Supreme Court, said at a press conference held by the Supreme Law that the people's court has always insisted on strict punishment for telecommunications network fraud crimes and adopting cross -border telecommunications network fraud crimes as the top priority of severe punishment. From 2017 to 2021, the national courts tried to help information network criminal activities of 67,000 crimes in the first instance, and 102,000 defendants were sentenced to punishment; 13,000 cases of violations of citizens' personal information crimes, and 27,000 defendants were sentenced to punishment. In the first half of 2022, the national courts concluded 39,000 criminal cases of information network crimes in the first instance, and 68,000 defendants were sentenced to punishment; more than 2,300 cases of criminal crimes were concluded, and more than 4,800 defendants were sentenced to punishment.

At the same time, the Supreme Law released a typical case of 10 people's courts to punish telecommunications network fraud crimes and their associated crimes in accordance with the law, emphasizing the policy position of the people's courts to severely punish telecommunications network fraud crimes in accordance with the law, and remind the people to enhance the awareness of anti -fraud and prevent the use of legal means to protect them.
