At the end of 2017, the victim knew the female netizen Ye Mou through social software. The two sides developed into a relationship between men and women through video chat, but never met in reality.

Half a year later, Ye Mou used the identity of his family in social software and lied to the victim that Ye Mou had an accidental accident. Not long after, Ye continued to contact the victim with his family's tone, claiming that he accidentally encountered a lady who had the same and the same name as Ye Mou on the road, so he asked the lady's contact information.

After listening to the victim, he had always been thinking about Ye Mou, so he got the contact information of Ye Mou's "new" Ye Mou's "family member" and pinned his thoughts on Ye Mou. However, the victim did not know that this was a scam. With this new identity, Ye Mou began to speak for his words. In April 2022, Ye would no longer contact the victim. On July 16th, the discovery was inappropriate, so he asked the police for help. After receiving the report, the police handling the case conducted in -depth analysis and judgment of the relevant clues provided by the victim, and increased investigation. On the afternoon of August 19, the police arrested Ye Mou, who was hiding in Longhua District, Shenzhen.

After interrogation, Ye Mou confessed to the facts of fraud. At present, the suspect Ye Mou has been criminally detained by the police in accordance with the law, and the case is still under investigation.
