On August 29, the Foshan Intermediate People's Court made a final judgment on the raising fraud cases of Gan and other four people in accordance with the law, rejected the appeal, and maintained the original judgment.

Earlier, the People's Court of the Nanhai District of Foshan City was sentenced to nine years in prison for fund -raising fraud in accordance with the law and fined 500,000 yuan. The remaining three were sentenced to imprisonment and fined. At the same time, the court ordered the four defendants to refund all the scams.

The court found out that in July 2020, four people including Gan Mou set up a Misheng Home Company in Dali Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, and packed it into the office of customers, carefully designed and arranged the office and lecture venue as A health company. After the company was established, there were leaflets in the surrounding markets, parks and other places, and sent small gifts to dispel the concerns of the elderly with the banner of health care and charity care, and let the elderly go to the company to listen to health classes. In the lesson, it was also seduced by sending health products, giving tourism, recharge, and recharge, and prizes, and developed a group of elderly people to become members. Later, using some elderly people who were unfamiliar with the Internet, the company developed the so -called online wealth management platform, claiming to be high -return, no risk to sell wealth management products, and promised that the elderly could check the wealth management situation online at any time after buying wealth management products. In order to deceive the trust of the elderly, the company also often carries out activities such as cash dividends of wealth management, free health products and free tourism. 127 elderly people were deceived by more than 1.92 million yuan.

The Foshan Intermediate People's Court believes that the facts of the original trial are clear, the evidence is true, sufficient, the law is correct, the sentencing is appropriate, and the trial procedure is legal, and the above ruling shall be made in accordance with the law.
